I have a little over one year nephew and godson. When he celebrated his birthday, I have written a birthday card. I was assuming that congratulations are meaningless at this age because my nephew can not read or speak. His parents shared this opinion, however, and said that the birthday card would have been just the first birthday of particular importance. What do you think? Susan D., via e-mail
your reasons why you have not registered your Göttibueb, but is pragmatic and logical, yet somehow heartless. For has not missed even if the little note at the birthday greeting to secure, so did his parents, and now you have the mess. They should have to write a card or at least call. You should never skimp principle with niceties.
